ADHD Online Course

This online course has been designed to tackle issues you might be
facing associated with ADHD symptoms. There are group sessions every week on these topics so you can meet others
who are suffering with ADHD. There are many benefits in joining a group as it can be reassuring to know that you are not alone and you can
pick up tips from each other.

Consider One-to-One coaching
for real change to take place

It all begins with you. Maybe you want to change a behaviour or limited belief. Maybe you want to leave your current job and do something that you enjoy. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world but can't get started. Whatever it is, One-to-One coaching can make all the difference to your performance.

Module 1: Organisation & Planning

One of the main issues with ADHD is time myopia. We lose track of time, or we don't allocate enough time to a particular task. Sound familiar?

Well, this module addresses your relationship with time and exploring why the ADHD brain finds planning and organisation so difficult. Once we’re aware of our relationship with time, we can make subtle changes to our working environment and lifestyle to accommodate it. There are some useful tried and tested templates in order to plan your day, week and life accordingly to get on top again. These will help you improve your relationship with time and, by extension, your relationship with yourself.

Module 2: Reducing Distractions

Staying on task is one of the major challenges for an ADHD brain. Therefore this module is essential to watch, in order to get present to ways in which we can reduce distractions. Once we raise our awareness of what distracts us, we can rearrange our environment or communicate with the people around us to make them aware that we require the space to focus. The end result is that we will manage to achieve the tasks we want to without feeling like we’re being pulled from one thing to the other. It gives us back the control over our time. Through reducing distractions we can maintain focus on tasks and get that feeling of accomplishment we all strive for.

“Absolutely brilliant course. Well worth the time and money. Sue is incredibly knowledgeable and this is a journey I'm glad to be on with a bunch of equally kind and impressive people. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for support and togetherness and is keen on self development.”

— Jono, London

Module 3: Adaptive Thinking

The aim of Adaptive Thinking is to improve your performance in any domain that matters to you. This module looks at the 3 ingredients of Adaptive Thinking—Planning, Monitoring, and Cognitive Flexibility. If you can practice them consistently, you’ll be well on your way towards dramatically improved performance.

Module 4: Overcoming powerful emotions

Life is difficult. This is the greatest truth, but very few get present to accepting this reality. As a result of this non-acceptance, difficult emotions like anger, confusion, fear, loneliness and sadness, just to name a few, can arise. Fear is one of the most powerful emotions. It has a very strong effect on your mind and body. Fear can create strong response signals when we’re in emergencies – if we’re caught in a fire or are being attacked, for instance.

Emotions like these are often the most present and powerful forces in your life. This module covers the key to overcoming these difficult emotions.

Module 5: The ADHD effect on Relationships

The ADHD effect on relationships is the elephant in the room and is something to get present to, as it even affects our relationship with ourselves. All intimate relationships are affected, and research has shown that a person with ADHD is almost twice as likely to get divorced. Toxic and codependent relationships affect our health over time, so it’s important to address the issues in order to create and maintain healthier relationships. This module explains the 6-step process of rebuilding relationships from Melissa Orlov, the top expert in the field. It also affects the relationship you have with yourself most importantly. The more we tell ourselves that we are no good, guess what - we start to believe it!

Remeber that nobody is always good. But you are always good enough.

Nobody is always good. We humans come with frayed edges, flaws, tempers and vast imperfections, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be brave, loving, nurturing, life-giving, rich, warm and wonderful to be around. The ones you love the most can at times feel like the most annoying, demanding disappointing people on the planet. You will feel like that to them sometimes too. All of us will make plenty of mistakes. It’s naïve to think otherwise. Don’t fall into the trap of focusing on your flaws as they will become the things that steer your mood, your relationships and the way you see yourself. Own your own goodness – your wisdom, your courage, your fight for something better for you and everyone connected to you. You are ending a legacy of pain and toxicity and giving the generations that come after you an opportunity for a depth of love and nurturing that will be richer because of you.

Module 6: Connecting with the Inner Child

Connecting with the inner child is essential work on this path. In this module we discover the inner child and learn how to become a nurturing “parent” to heal any childhood wounds. When we open our hearts to the inner child, we start to heal past wounds and become whole. However, first we may have to restore integrity with our inner child if we have ignored them for many years. It’s challenging work but the rewards are well worth it.

Module 7: Overcoming Procrastination

In this module we look at what procrastination is and the consequences on our lives. Everyone procrastinates. We put things off because we don’t want to do them, or because we have too many other things on our plate. Putting things off—big or small—is part of being human. Effectively, procrastination steals your time. As we can't bring back time, why not to learn how to overcome it? We explore the different types of procrastination and look at the tips to overcome them.

Module 8: Developing problem solving skills

Life is a series of problems. Unless we get present to the fact that the way we approach the problem could be the problem in itself, it can be an endless struggle. This module looks at how we can harness our ADHD superpowers, such as brainstorming and creativity, to solve problems and rewrite them as opportunities.

Module 9: Encouraging Creativity and Flow

Creativity is a precious gift. It’s one of the main ADHD superpowers we have... but sometimes we get stuck when it comes to unleashing our potential. This module looks at how to unlock the creativity and start putting the time into the things you love to do. It also looks at what flow actually is and how we can encourage it. Sometimes we take life too seriously, even to the point where we don't even start creative projects. According to the Buddha we can create the world we live in, so the question is: what kind of life are you going to create?

Module 10: Exploring ADHD and Nutrition

According to Harvard Medical School, there is a high rate of obesity in the ADHD population, which is contrary to popular belief as people think they’re burning so much energy through the hyperactivity. Research shows that many gastric bypass patients have ADHD and associated impluse control disorders. Therefore, it’s important to address the issue of nutrition within this course, as food can be our best medicine when used alongside other treatments. This module covers the foods/drinks that make our ADHD symptoms more pronounced and foods that can aid in reducing the symptoms. We look at meal planning and what an ideal ADHD diet looks like.

Module 11: Decluttering the Mind and the Environment

The decluttering process can offer many benefits, but the main one is creating space. If you live in a cluttered environment, your mind replicates it and we find it difficult to find things, or to access the information we need at that particular moment in time. This module looks at how we can declutter the mind and the environment to create a peaceful world for ourselves and those around us.

Module 12: Celebrating & Rewriting your ADHD story

We tend to go through life from one course to another, one problem to another, and forget to celebrate how far we’ve come. This modules looks at the journey we’ve taken to get to the end of the course and whether we have fulfilled our intention that was set at the beginning. It also looks at how we can rewrite our own ADHD story going forward. We all have a precious human life and it's time to celebrate it!
